Fyers Automate
What Is Fyers Automate?
Fyers Automate is a workflow-based, no-code trading automation platform built natively within the FYERS brokerage ecosystem. Unlike external algo tools that rely on third-party integrations or require coding, Automate runs directly on FYERS' own infrastructure, making it the first of its kind among Indian discount brokers. It was built in alignment with SEBI's recently finalised framework for retail algorithmic trading.expresscomputer+1
How It Works
Automate uses a drag-and-drop visual canvas where you build workflows using three core building blocks:[fyers]
Triggers — define when the workflow wakes up (e.g., price breakout, range breakout, webhook signal, order status, portfolio P&L level)
Actions — define what to do (place order, square off, modify order, cancel order, send alerts)
Conditions — define the logic path the workflow follows (IF/AND/OR/ANY branches for multi-leg or conditional strategies)
You can combine these into sophisticated, multi-step automated strategies — for example, a Bull Put Spread on NIFTY that triggers on a range breakout and sequences two option legs with confirmation checks between them.[fyers]
Key Features
No coding required — Visual drag-and-drop canvas, accessible to non-developers[timestech]
Dynamic options selection — Automate calculates the right ATM/OTM/ITM strike at runtime, not at strategy-creation time[fyers]
Multi-leg options strategies — Supports sequenced execution with order-status-based triggers between legs[fyers]
Webhook trigger — Allows TradingView alerts or custom scripts to fire workflows inside Automate, so signal generation can remain external while execution is broker-native[fyers]
8 trigger types — Range breakout, price breakout, webhook, order status, wait time, portfolio check, symbol details check, and orderbook check[fyers]
Risk controls built-in — Portfolio-level P&L checks (total P&L, automation P&L, open positions) can trigger stop-automation or square-off actions[fyers]
Scheduling — Define active days and time windows; strategy only runs within your specified market window[fyers]
Notifications — Mobile push notifications and email alerts at any workflow step[fyers]
Broker-native execution — Reduced latency vs. external bridges; orders operate entirely within a regulated environment[expresscomputer]
Available on web only — Automate is currently accessible only via FYERS Web, not the mobile app[fyers]
Supported Order & Exit Types
Automate handles a wide variety of order and exit scenarios:chittorgarh+1

Pros
Truly no-code — retail traders with zero programming knowledge can automate multi-leg strategies
Broker-native — no reliance on external API bridges or third-party tools like Amibroker or Python scripts
SEBI-compliant — built within the new regulatory framework for retail algo trading[timestech]
Webhook support — bridges the gap between TradingView signal generation and broker execution[fyers]
Free — no extra subscription cost beyond a regular FYERS trading account[expresscomputer]
Risk layers built-in — portfolio-level P&L guardrails and scheduled execution windows reduce runaway automation risk
Cons
Web-only — not available on the FYERS mobile app, limiting monitoring convenience[fyers]
No native backtesting engine — you cannot test strategies on historical data within Automate itself[algotradingsoftware]
FYERS-only — strategies are locked to the FYERS broker ecosystem; no multi-broker execution[algotradingsoftware]
Not for HFT — designed for rule-based retail strategies, not high-frequency or latency-sensitive algorithms
Limited indicator-based triggers — currently focuses on price/range/portfolio triggers rather than technical indicator crossovers (e.g., MACD, RSI-based entries)
No community marketplace — unlike some platforms, there is no shared library of pre-built community strategies to import

Who Should Use It?
Fyers Automate is best suited for active retail traders — particularly options traders — who have a defined trading plan but struggle with emotional, inconsistent execution. It works well for strategies like opening range breakouts, straddles/strangles, or Bull/Bear spreads on NIFTY/BANKNIFTY that need disciplined, repeatable execution. Traders who already use TradingView for signal generation can seamlessly hand off execution to Automate via webhooks.timestech+1
Developers and quantitative traders who need backtesting, multi-broker execution, or fine-grained control will likely still prefer the Fyers API or third-party platforms.[algotradingsoftware]
